INTERVIEW: Louise Goss, Founder & Editor of The Homeworker Magazine

It was an absolute delight to take time to speak with Louise Goss, Founder and Editor of The Homeworker Magazine for this episode of the podcast.

Shortlisted for Launch of The Year in 2019 by the British Society of Magazine Editors, The Homeworker is a magazine that provides expert insights, tips, and resources to help people achieve a happier, healthier, more productive work from home lifestyle.

Louise is an award-winning journalist and mum of two. She has worked across a range of media from TV, radio, digital, and print and in regional, national and international newsrooms.  Having worked from home for over a decade, she launched The Homeworker in 2019 to help support and inspire people when working alone or adapting to the ever evolving way we work.

The Homeworker takes a holistic view of working from home, covering topics on mindset, wellbeing, productivity, lifestyle, and workspace.  Louise is passionate about helping people make positive changes for a healthy mind, body and business.

We talked through the composition and logistics of the magazine, how to approach her with a pitch, what she wants to hear in a pitch and also about looking at approaching the media with creativity and value.  We also talked about various working from home issues from switching off at the end of the day, creating boundaries, staying motivated and maximising productivity.
