LOTTIE DAINTON'S THE BUSINESS DIARIES | BOSS YOUR PR

It was so much fun to do an interview with the fabulous Lottie Dainton recently for her blog series, The Business Diaries.

This type of blog content is something I encourage all clients to consider. Interviews make GREAT blog content. Why?

  • It's low input - the work is done by the interviewee

  • You have someone else with an interest in promoting the content - therefore putting you in front of a new audience

  • Quotes from interviews make great social media posts

  • You can tease interviews and also involve your audience by asking them who they would like to see on your blog

  • You can gain credibility from association with your interviewees

  • Interviews are a way of galvanising supporters of your brand by sharing your platform and interviewing the

They are honestly such a great way of creating content and building community. You can keep the questions very much the same for each interview, maybe just personalising slightly. You don't have to use every response provided. You might choose to hold a couple back from the main interview on your blog but to use as social media exclusive content.

Who could you interview?

  • Collaborators

  • People with complementary areas of expertise

  • A stylist to talk about 'styling your product'

  • An influencer that is a fan of your brand

  • Members of your team

  • Super fans of your brand

  • People that inspire you

Get creative in your brainstorming on this.

Take a look at Lottie's blog and see what you think. Is this something you could do?
